I'm testing NUR 5.5. Under "major routines" in the Update Checklist is Enter a Plan of Care. One of the 6 bullets states" file and if orders are associated make sure taken into Care Area Order Screen." I think I'm confused.
We have just a couple interventions and orders that have been linked through the NUR intervention and the OE procedure dictionaries. When the orders are transcribed to OE, that generates an intervention on the patient's care plan.
If, while in the Plan of Care routine I add either of these interventions, or either of them appear as a standard part of the care plan, I am not taken into the Care Area Order Screen when I file. Nor do I want to be. I think.......
So I suspect that I am missing the boat entirely. If any of you can provide examples of how you are using the functionality (how it facilities your process),
