Tim: On our EDM Tracker and EDM record, we show both the Stated Complaint and the Chosen CC by the nurse in EDM after triaging the patient. Your correct that the Stated Complaint does populate the Reason for Visit, but if I remember correctly, it always has. Now what diagnosis the patient is coded with on discharge by ABS staff is not based on the reason for visit comment line, so I am not sure what the issue/problem is.
