You can do this with an NPR report, but you have to open prefixes to the PCI
data file "yourself".

The data is in %pci.data. To get to the PCI data file, you can do this:

C(:S),
%Z.link(":","PCI","%pci.data","PCI.HHS"),
IF{b.initials'=D(127) b.initials^USER},
%Z.date.clinical(c.xx.from)*86400^START,
%Z.date.clinical(c.xx.to)+1*86400^END,
%Z.print.local("OFF"),
+:A[""]^TOP,
IF{TOP>START 1,
             "Start Date of "_%Z.date.out(c.xx.from)_" prior to PCI purge -
range correcte
             @W.err(/ERR),
             %Z.date.in.magic(TOP)^c.xx.from},
IF{USER'=D(127) -:AU[USER]^USER;""^USER},
DO{+:AU[USER]^USER'>e.initials USER^initials,@W.display("Processing "_USER),
                               IF{c.xx.doc.only="N"[EMAIL PROTECTED]
@PROCESS.ACTIVITY}},
%Z.print.local("ON"),
@W.display("")

I have uploaded three sample reports in the post 4.9 SR3 format in MIS.USER DPM
to our report library.

I am turning local printing off so that I can entertain the user with some
progress messages even if they print to local.

The main report ranks PCI use from most use to least, and you can count by # of
accesses or by total time in PCI.

We are also trying to look into this, but I don't know much about using reports
in PCI. I would be interested in anything you find out. Our Meditech Specialist
didn't make it sound too promising and just referred me to the KB Article
22942.

Posting for my co-worker...

Hi L-ers,

My hospital is looking to create various NPR reports to audit the users for
appropriate PCI usage. We are looking for specific reports like "Are nurses
whose primary location is critical care only looking at critical care
patients?" or "Are users looking at patients with the same last name as them?"
Is this possible? Suggesting on what DPM to use? Does any one out there have
any audit reports that they would like to share? Any other suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sofia Osborne

Subject: RE: Editing the Standard PHA Inpatient Refill List

Hello,

Has anyone out there come up with a custom report for the PHA Inpatient Refill
List that suppresses zero dose meds and PRN med with zero fill amounts?
Currently we are wasting HUGE amounts of paper when the list prints these types
of orders. Additionally, it is a lot for our pharmacists to sift though.

The standard Inpatient Refill List really is not an NPR RW report, but more
like a series of programs called from within an NPR RW report.

Since we need a magic programmer to accomplish this, I am thinking of trying
Iatric, although I was wondering if anyone else out there has come up with a
solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Beth
