As far as I know, there is no "referred from" field available, and it sure would be nice. The only things that I can think of for an outpatient registration would be separate secondary locations or separate mnemonics for the docs. Neither of these will assure you that reports get back to where they should, as correct registration is not a given. You can't really use client because then you would not be able to add insurance information. That's what makes the ourtreach lab piece so important. We have the clinics built as the "submitted from" and route reports back based on that field. For IP and OP non-outreach, I have reports going to the doctor's "home" clinic. It is far less than a perfect solution, and it sounds like that wouldn't work at all for you.
