Previously patients were identified with the name on their insurance card when they presented for service, which could have been different from their legal name. Now due to HIPAA requirements, patients are having to be registered with the name on their ID card (ie: insurance card may say “John Doe” and ID card says “Johnathon Doe”. In LSS for registration, users are having trouble searching by subscriber name, which was the convention used before using LSS…..any ideas on how LSS can support searching for patients by subscriber name?
