Hi Terry

        Try This

        IFE=0^MM,
        IFE=%Z.age.format(@p.ADM.PAT.age)^AGE,
      IFE=IF{AGE#"0Y"^YY,'YY AGE*12;
        IFE=(AGE#"0Y"+0*12)^MM,
        IFE=AGE#1A#"0M"+MM}^MM,
      IFE=(MM'<6'>59)!(MM'<600)

        What this does is take the age and translate it into a standard format
of
nY nnM nnD if the age is less than 5 years. If the age is greater than 5
years then the number of years old is returned with no months or days. We
use string extraction to determine if the patient is under 5 years old;

        If age> 5 Years we multiply the years by 12 to get the number of months.
        If age< 5 Years we
                extract the years and multiply by 12 to get the years in months
                extract the months and add that to the years in months to get
the total
months

Hope this Helps
Ken

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] AGE ATTRIBUTES

Hello all, I have a slight problem with an attribute. The following
attribute works great, the problem is the guideline has changed and instead
of being 6-24 months it is now 6-59 months. I tried substituting the 24
months with 59 months and it did not work. I have tried several different
formats with none of them working, I have now ran out of gas and looking
towards you great people to assist. I really appreciate your help!

IFE=(@p.ADM.PAT.age'<6MO)&(@p.ADM.PAT.age'>24MO)!(@p.ADM.PAT.age'<50)

Thank you,
