We are a Meditech 5.5 site and we found that the standard Meditech statistical report did not met our needs. It reports the same patient on the report if the exam was performed in ER and then on the floor. So your stats show an false number of patients. By creating a standard report we are able to separate out inpatient from outpatient and ER. I hope this helps.

Good Morning all,

    I have a questions for the Lab and Radiology people out in Meditech land.  On the standard Meditech statistical reports is there a way to seperate out inpatient and outpatient.  When we run these reports we are seeing Observation patients showing up under the inpatient stats,  I'm thinking it has to do with not being specific enough on the report selection however and not all that familiar with how specific you can get with these standard reports -- any ideeas?
