are a Magic site live with 5.5 SR 1 and moving up to SR3 on
Sunday. Our Formulary Service is Micromedex. We want to
eventaully take advantage of all the new dose range enhancements, but our

Could anyone help us with the new 5.5 enhancement permitting dose variances for weight based ordering? Does anyone have any guidelines and/or a practical solution for entering these variances in the drug dictionary? Certainly a few mg one way or the other will not matter on many meds, but on some we need to be more careful. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks, Mary Ellen Potucek, RPh |
