We are looking for guidance from any hospital that is
currently billing all services, both hospital and clinic, on one 837P form using OE to request test from lab and 100%
prof comp and performing MD requirement in B/AR. Our goal is to reduce
two bills and two co-pays (one for the clinic and one for hospital lab
services) to one bill and co-pay. Our biggest barrier is getting the
performing physician attached to the lab charges for clinics only without
effecting other locations.
