We had a few misreads until I increased the size of the barcode and then
all was well. We use the E-4208 without problems, now.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Barcodes on RX Labels printed in Pharmacy

We are encountering scanning issues with the RX barcode on the labels
that are printed in Pharmacy. The users are having to "play" with the
scanner to get it to read the barcode where all other barcodes are read
VERY easily. We are using a Datamax I-4208 for all the pharmacy labels.

Did anyone else encounter this problem and what did you do to fix it?
We have adjusted the imprint on the printer so that the text on the
labels is darker but that does seem to have any effect. Any help would
be greatly appreciated!
