This is our issue as well with some OB charting. We are trying to
determine the best use of an attribute to fix the issue.

Please post all responses to this on the L. Thanks!

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Query based charging in EDM Magic 5.5 sr2

We are exploring the use of query based charging in EDM, and had a few
questions to those who are using this feature.

When you answer queries on the CDS and file, then go back and edit the
CDS
by either answering another query or deleting a previous answer, how
does it
appear in B/AR? For us right now, it charges for all answered queries,
then
not only credits the changes but credits all, and then debits again any
answered queries.

Is this how your system is working? This seems very cumbersome and
difficult
to use and follow. In NUR query based charging, only those charges
associated with an answered query appear. If you make a change, it
changes
only that item, not credit all and recharge for all.

I checked with Meditech, and they tell me this is how the system is to
work.

Thanks for all your help
