You can do this with a single NPR report but a MAR is not a single report, it is compiled "on the fly" from several fragments so the system does not know how may pages there will be when it starts printing.
The best you can do is described in the attached document, to display Page 2 Continued on Page 3 and then Page 3 Final Page.

Is there a way on the MAR to do the page numbering with it showing 1 of so many?

 Like 1 of 7 and 2 of 7 and so on.
