Hello, We use the bulletin board primarily for health management information. Currently if a patient is being seen by our anticoagulation clinic, there is a note with a fax number for their clinic site (we have 14 now, I think), the ordering provider, and when the patient began the program so that if a patient has been hospitalized, they will know to fax discharge orders to the anticoagulation clinic. In the future we are thinking of posting if a patient is enrolled in other health management programs (CHF clinic, Pacemaker clinic, Endocrine center...), but it is not currently in practice.
We are looking into the possibility of posting a contact person as the POA or if patient information may be shared with someone other than themselves. Currently Advance Directive information is viewable in the Critical Care Indicators screen. Thanks!
