Hi Bill,
I am glad you are feeling better today. I started feeling sick the
night
we got back from Nashville. I do not think it is a cold, I mainly have a
cough. There were a few sick people at the conference. I thought I was
going to need to be like Howard Hughes and lock myself in the room to
keep
from being around the germs but I guess some did get to me. With the
rule
you sent part of it is missing, the zcus flu history cus defined keyword
was not included or I just missed it. I get a error when I try to file
the
rule that the data field is not defined. Sorry for being a pest.
Thank you,

Thanks, I am alittle better today, hopefully I will get over this cold
soon (it has been a week today).
I got both of these from Herb Bromenshenkel, so I cannot take credit for
them....
I cannot remember exactly which rule I was going to share with you all,
unless it was the FLU/PNEUOVAX Vaccine History Rule.
There is one rule with 5 custom pha data fields (the z fields) you have
to build those first (PHA DICT Menu, then #96. RX type and then copy the
ones I have listed in the file).
Then put the rule together...
Also I mentioned a housewide/census of patients on coumadin/heparin and
their INR lab results.
This is a ADM.PAT main report with 3 frags, 2 PHA.RX frags, one see if
the patient is on a coumadin type drug, the other to get the list of
meds and the LAB.L.SPEC frag to get the INR results and collection
dates/times.
See attached files.
To write reports without frags, you can do it with subcripting(if the
data is open to that module or DPM) or in a macro. I am sending you a
macro that gets data from another module without fraging.
I do not use this a lot, I am so used to fragments, I know I should
migrate to the newer/faster method of macros, but when I am in a hurry,
I just do what I know works.
Good Luck,

Hi Bill,
I hope you are feeling better today. One of the reasons I am sending
this
email was to find out if you could please send me a copy of the rule you
went over in the Pharmacy session. I was thinking there was something
else, a report or something you were going to share if we e-mailed you
for
a copy. There was so much going on the past two days it was hard to keep
up with. I would like to have stayed over today for the NPR workshop but
I
guess the money was not there for that. I would really like to know how
to
write reports without having to use fragments to pull information. Thank
you for sharing and again I hope you are feeling better.
Thank you,
