We do have ours set up that way.

We are able to designate which week the hours were worked in.  For those
ees that submit hardcopy timecards that I have to input, there is a
field labeled "Wk" in the timecard entry screen where I indicate  1 or 2
for the week that the earnings codes relate to.

Our nursing staff timecards are created from Meditech Staffing and
Scheduling so the actual dates worked are there for the system to use

There must be a setting in the parameters that tells the system to
compute OT for each week.  It's a payroll week here, so I won't have
time to look for it until later in the week. I hope that this little bit
of info will get you started in the right direction.

For all you payroll gurus out there...we have a question about how you
get Meditech to deal with FLSA calculation.
According to FLSA regs you're supposed to calculated overtime by using
the average rate for each separate week in a two week pay period. Does
anyone out there have their Meditech set up so that it separates out
each week in your payroll?
