Hi All,
For those of you that are live with the MAR, have you had problems with
multi-dosage forms showing up as an override on your MARs? Basically, we
have warfarin set up as warfarin Protocol in the drug dictionary and the
multiple doses listed in the other dosage forms. This allows them to scan
multiple doses of warfarin. Now what is happening when they pull the
warfarin from pyxis, it sets up a new warfarin with that time on the MAR. It
does not map to the one that is due at 2100. So, potentially, this could
cause med errors. I am having meditech look at it, but we are going live
with another unit where lots of the patients have warfarin. We set up our
taper meds this way too, so I am worried that this will affect those meds
too.

Thanks
