Hi Crystal, the patient directory in 5.5 SR2 does not contain a patient address, home phone or social security number and these fields were never on the directory in the past either (unless you are at a higher software release that has modified this routine) Are you utilizing something other than the standard? The standard contains the patient's room and bed number, their name, gender, age, doctors, services, status, service dates and location but not the information that you have noted below. Thanks!

Mary thank you, Do you get feedback that the Patient Directory has too much information because the patient's Social Security Number, address, and phone number are on the directory listing? Our switchboard has the ADM routine Patient Directory. We utilize the Restrict Directory Disclosure functionality in ADM. Patients who have restricted their disclosure do not appear on the Patient Directory at all. It works perfectly. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Delsesto, Marc Sent: Friday, November 03, 2006 9:21 AM To: [email protected] Cc: Pilon, Crystal Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Patient look up for SWITCHBOARD/PATIENT INFO DESK? Good Morning all; I'm just wondering what other facilities use for a patient look-up in their switchboard and/or patient-info desk. We don't want to use the Meditech Directory (for obvious HIPPA reasons) basically because it contains confidential information that these users do not need to see. Any suggestions, tips or tricks would be extremely helpful! Thanks!!
