We have a few such people here who have multiple jobs with different
requirements. We do have multiple logons for them. The one thing we do
is to disable the send/receive MOX messages for all but one of the
logons, so users don't have confusion about which Jane Doe they're
sending a message to.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Naming Convention

Good morning,

We are trying to resolve an issue here that maybe someone else has
already
addressed with a better solution.

We are looking to start a new naming convention with one logon per user.
Previously to this we have numerous users that have 2 or 3 logons
because
they are different care provider types and need different access. In
other
words, a nurse in the MICU will document as an RN; but then they are a
part-time clinical instructor for the college and they need to be
identified
as such. And he also floats to radiology requiring a third logon.

Another example is a RN that works in SDU to float on weekends but is
actually a case manager 8-4 Mon-Fri. How have you fixed this problem in
your hospitals? We are trying to accomplish this before the end of the
month
if someone could answer me in a timely manner. Thank you for any help
you
can provide us.
