Hi Daniel,

I started down that road with some success. However, it became very
cumbersome in order to do it right. I don't want to display the
mnemonics but rather the element names for those that are group look-ups
and many of the queries have multiple line responses.

Since it seems obvious that Meditech has a standard program that does
this automatically when moving to a new page of the CDS or when
canceling an exit or file, I was hoping someone already know how to call
that program! If not, I may just have to spend a lot of time trying to
beat the macro into doing this for me!

Thanks,
Kenny Whiteside

Kenny,
Wouldn't you simply also display the information in the same macro,
especially since it is two steps in any attribute. I'm sure Meditech
stores the row/column of each query so you could use that if you like.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Program code to "Refresh" a CDS page after a
Macro

Hello "L",

I have written a macro that defines the temporary responses of many of
the queries on a CDS using the /[ANS%0,"QUERY"]|0 structures. When
returning to the CDS, the answers will only display as the cursor goes
through the query response fields. But... if you choose exit or file
and then cancel, the page is "refreshed" and the pre-defined responses
are there.

My question: Does anyone know how to elict the program code that
causes the CDS page to refresh? I would love to refresh the page
immediately after the macro runs in order to display all of the
responses pre-defined by the macro.

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,
Kenny Whiteside
