Good morning, Recently we have moved many of our LAB tests (Cdiff and MRSA screens, gen probe, etc) into MIC since they are done in that department and it is appropriate for it to be resulted, statistics to be captured there, and for them to appear with other MIC on the patient report. The problem is the MIC summary screen in PCI only shows organisms isolated and not the positive/negative results from the procedure prompts. We have asked MEDITECH to evaluate a custom to display an abnormal flag on the screen as a workaround. We are looking for other creative workarounds, other than resulting it as the organism isolated, which skews statistics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
