Yes, you can make it so that the physicians can sign in 1 click. We
made this change shortly after going live with e-signing of orders. In
the OE parameters (general info tab), you can ask Meditech to change the
View Before Order Sign to NO.

We told physicians to review the list of patients/orders when they log
in to esign, and then click on sign. It takes one click to sign off ALL
orders. For any doctors who prefer to view, they can click on View.

If physicians sign from EMR routines, they get a prompt View or Sign
Orders, so they can choose to view each order there too.

Thanks,

Subject: Electronic Signature of Telephone Orders

I would love to hear from other client server facilities who have
implemented electronic signature of Telephone orders. We implemented
this practice about a month ago and are hearing strong negative feedback
from physicians about having to review and sign each order individually,
when in the paper world, they just put one signature at the bottom of
the long list of verbal/telephone orders.

Any tips and tricks to improve physician satisfaction would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Charlotte
