BlankI just came from a meeting with our Psych services. They have both
Inpatient and Outpatient populations. I am wondering what other hospitals are
doing to get their charting, progress notes, etc online. The majority of their
patients move from inpatient to a partial outpatient clinic. I want the info
to flow from one to the other. During our discussion, we got on the subject of
Medications. We feel a need for some type of Outpatient documentation that
would provide a list of a patient's meds from visit to visit. We now have some
physicians that are employees of our hospital and they would like to see the
patients current meds listed in Meditech (not just inpatient meds, but
outpatient meds, too). I'd really appreciate any ideas. We really like to
stay with Meditech, but I'm wondering if there is any software that other
hospitals are using to keep a list of meds, etc from visit to visit. Thanks.
