We are a Magic 5.5 site, and use Intervention Sets in our nursing module. We have an Intervention Set for general Med/Surg that includes Admission Assessment, Vital Signs, I & O, Med Reconciliation, Immunization Protocol, etc. It works well, because you just add the whole set to patients on admission, and the unit secretaries or nurses are less likely to miss any routine interventions that need to be added to each patient.

I am looking for information on Intervention Sets. Who is presently using them? Are they useful, pros and cons to their use, etc. If you are a site not utilizing Intervention sets, why did you decide against it? Any and all feed back is appreciated.
