Hi Drew, We are in the process of installing the 3M Medical Necessity Online product. This is a very slick product that is definitely worth the time to look into. It supports both Part A and Part B LMRP's. All the dictionary maintenance is done by 3M automatically which is a huge time saver in itself. You can automatically generate an ABN at the simple click of a button and if used in the physician office (the version that we bought came with 50 licenses for physician offices) allows them to automatically generate an electronic requisition. I am definitely not an expert on Medical Necessity, but if you would like to know more, I'm sure that one of one of our project coordinators would be glad to speak with you about it. Anyway, Medical Necessity Dictionaries is the product for the LMRP upload file. Medical Necessity Online is 3M's own Medical Necessity checking software (which is actually the one we're taking a look at now). Anyway, INFO-X (or 3M) is the only one that Meditech referenced, so my guess is, that's probably the only option.
