The order type is at the top of the hierachy. You can test all of this out
by adding different schedules in the order type, MIS directions, and
defaults in the drug dictionary if you want to see what happens.

Our pharmacy is requesting that when SIG=1X on Pharmacy Order Entry, they
would like to have the SCH default to ONE.
I have found the 3 dictionaries that control this, but am having trouble
determining the hierarchy and which dictionary overrides the other ones.
The 3 dictionaries are:
PHA.DRUG
MIS.DIRECTIONS
ORDER.TYPE
Can anyone explain to me which dictionary has the final say as to what the
SCH will default to?
