I'd be interested to hear opinions of this enhancement from any sites that have implemented it to check when crossmatching or issuing units - with an allowable override.
I tried it out, and found it rather cumbersome when working on multiple units at the same time, as the message(s) pop up for each product you have defined to check. After the message comes up, the user can proceed, but not until entering a reason for the override. I feel like if I implement this (it does seem like a valuable tool), the BBK users will scream bloody murder when a massive transfusion situation presents itself.
