We are currently in the process of a new Update Service Release, from CS 5.3 SR2 to 5.5 SR6. I have a question regarding a booking process change with the 5.4 Client Server update. We are multi site as well.
If you are using Client Server, 5.4 release or higher, there was a DTS for the 5.4 Update, (DTS 3410), that is going to change the way we have setup our Appointment Types, for a few sites, when we are booking for more than one Resource Group at a time. Currently, in our 5.3 SR6 release, our users book their appointments, and if there is a second or third resource group attached to that appointment type, they pull in the exact resource that is needed for that appointment.
With this DTS from the Update release 5.4 in place, when the users will be booking an appointment with more than one resource group attached, the system will automatically pull in the next available resource, which is NOT what we need.
If you had a service release from anything below 5.4 to 5.4 or above, my question is, 'did you have the same problem that we are experiencing and if so how did you deal with it? Did you change the way that your dictionaries are setup, and if so, what were the changes?
