Sharon, One way to generate another barcode that is associated with a patient would be to create a wristband through NPR. In NPR, one could copy the original NPR label for writbands and indicate an additional character to print at the end of the barcode. You may also have to program your barcode reader to recognize this additional character as well. I hope this helps!
