Hi, Caution: I am not well versed in LAB so you will have to excuse my terminology! Issue: Specimens are collected but not labeled at the bedside (or immediately after collection) in an emergency/stat situation. In most cases, the patient has not even been registered in Meditech ADM. Error rates (incorrect labeling) are high especially when there are multiple emergencies happening at once.
