Hello listers,

I want to share with you a new resource for information related specifically
to BPOC systems, www.PointofCareForum.com. Health Data Management (December
18, 2006) described it as:
"A new Web site enables nurses and others to exchange ideas on using bar
code technologies at the point of care to reduce medication errors. The
TerraPharma Project in Bellevue, Wash., created the site, at
PointofCareForum.com. TerraPharma organizes conferences that highlight
real-world use of methods and technologies to improve patient safety. In
addition to offering a listserv, the new site also offers member-donated
tools, such as procedures, training aids, patient education pamphlets and
other resources. The site also includes a directory of point-of-care bar
code products from more than 120 vendors."

Many, many Meditech-L participants helped us build this site by authorizing
the posting of their BMV-related questions and comments.  As a thank you, I
want to make you all aware of a promotion that we are running to build our
readership.
