Hi Jim,
We are also beginning our project for hand-held phlebotomy devices this year
and would be interested in any information or testimonials (both positive
and negative) that others have to offer.

I’m not familiar with Lattice, but I’ve seen a demo on Iatrics Mobilab (very
nice), and I’ve also seen demos on the following vendors’ phlebotomy
products:

Bridge http://www.bridgemedical.com/spec.shtml
CareCollect http://www.carefusion.com/Default.aspx?tabid=67
BDID http://www.bd.com/bdid/
CareT http://www.intellidot.net/caret/

I though I’d heard in passing that JJWILD also had a solution, but I haven’t
found any info on it.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Hand Held Phlebotomy

We are planning to start a project to use hand held devices for phlebotomy.
I know of three options:  Lattice, Iatric Mobilab, and waiting for Meditech
5.6.3 functions.

Are there other options that I am missing?

Has the Meditech function gotten to a beta site and has anyone tested it?
How does it function and is it worth waiting for?

Can anyone provide feed back on Iatric or Lattice?  How has support been?
What problems have you encountered?

If I get significant feedback, I will summarize and post to the group.
