Hello all, We are a Magic 5.5 sr2 site up with emar on all inpatient floors. Our physicians are used to seeing glucose results along with the Insulin dose. On paper this was achieved via a nursing CDS that allowed physician viewing in PCI. Now with emar the insulin dose is recorded there and a Nur CDS captures the finger stick. For the physician this has resulted in the dose and glucose to be found in two different places in PCI, a huge dissatisfier. The Nur CDS can of course require the dose along with the glucose to be recorded, but nursing feels they shouldn't have to document twice. Has anyone found a way of linking the Pharmacy dose given with the Nur glucose query in PCI? Thanks for any help.
