L Land: We are opening up a Short Stay Unit in mid-May 2007. We've been
having "discussions" on the following topics:
a.) hours of operation (24/7 or 12 hrs or ?)
b.) what type of pts (observation pts, late day surgery cases, certain
radiology pts, ER overflow, ?)
We would like to hear from any facility that has a Short Stay Unit up and
running and would like to share their experience.
