Recently there has been information on the L about how to back up the eMAR for
unplanned downtimes. It seems like products such as M-Print may be a great
option for that, but I am wondering what other types of virtual printing sites
are doing to be prepared for unplanned downtimes.

Our administration is supporting the idea of being "paperless", meaning we do
not print lab results or reports for our paper charts. In that case, is there
a way to send ITS reports or LAB summary reports to virtual printers in case
the network/Meditech goes down? Does your site do this? If yes, do you use
Meditech or a another vendor?

Any information on how sites are doing this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!
