Hi Janet-
I have always said separating eMAR and BMV is preferred, and I'm sticking
with that. It seems lately that when someone mentions BMV, it implies that
eMAR is part of it. MT is even now pushing a parallel implementation - the
only argument that holds any water is that a possible training issue comes
up. My answer to that is giving the user an overview of scanning at the
eMAR training, and then have a refresher in a Staff Meeting, etc.

My short answer - POC and eMAR, then BMV 3 months later.

Best of luck - Kevin.

Subject: [SPAM][MEDITECH-L] Progression of NUR functions

Good Morning,
We are a Magic 5.5 site that has utilized the NUR module for 14 years. We
know we need to clean up our interventions, care plans, etc. We are almost
ready to go LIVE with the status board. My question is this:
What do you think is the best progression for nursing.? Do we start with
POC, or the eMAR, or BMV? I'm not sure what our next step should be and I
just thought maybe some of you would provide your travels in the Meditech
NUR progression. I really appreciate any input, good or bad. Thank you so
much.
