We could use some help on this issue since we're not getting very far with
Meditech. Since we upgraded to Magic 5.5 SR3 last month, we initially did not
receive LAB series orders through the OE interface. Meditech loaded DTS OE
11226 to solve that issue. Since that DTS was loaded, series orders transmit
through the interface, even after patients are discharged and the orders are
autocancelled (except the FINAL order of the series order, which does not
transmit). We have the LAB container labels pretty full or a simple interm fix
would be to have the patients' status added to the label.
We know there are Magic 5.5 SR3 sites out there not having this issue, but hope
someone had the issue and steer us to a DTS that corrected the issue. They
claim we already have DTS's OE 10827 & OE 12323, which describe our scenario. I
have asked them to remove 11226 and reload 10827 & 12323, but they won't do
that. All that seems to get done is additional testing instances of verifying
the issue. This issue has been duplicated in LIVE & TEST.
We would appreciate any assistance. For sites seldom using series type orders,
it may be something you want to test in case series orders become more
frequent.
Thanks,
Paul
