We are a MEDITECH MAGIC site embarking down the path of getting
documentation into MEDITECH for our ancillary departments. A couple options
available would be using Departmental or the Nursing module. We are
interested in which option you are using for the following ancillary
departments; pros/cons of doing it this way; if you are using nursing are
you generating charges; and, if you are willing, to share a sample of what
your screens and/or reports look like:
Departments include:
Therapy (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy)
Wound Care
Dietary/Clinical Nutrition
Diabetic documentation
Chaplain
Pharmacy
Respiratory Therapy
Social Services
Case Managers
Utilization Review
Patient Education
