Hello out there, One of the safety goals for 2007 is implementing a standard way for Hand Off Communications. We think we can achieve this through the Nursing Profiles.
What we have been considering (if it is possible) is to use the Temporary Location on the administrative Data Screen. When the temp location is filled in and filed the specified hand off profile would print. Has anyone tried to do this or have you done it differently and have a better idea? We would love any suggestions that you have to avoid nurses or secretaries having to spend the time printing. Thank you for any assistance you can offer. Joan Bryant RN, SR.
