Good Morning,
Medicare is requiring Hospice claims as of 01/01/07 to use HCPCS codes to let them know where the patient is receiving their care. If the patient is receiving care in the home the code is Q5001 with rev code 651. If the patient is receiving care in an assisted living facility the code would be Q5002 with rev code 651 and the codes go up to Q5009 depending on where the patient lives. Does anyone have their dictionaries set up for this yet? We use PTCT and I am told that we need to add these in an MIS dictionary but having a problem locating where. Can anyone share any information with us? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
