We have a large hospitalist program and we assign our hospitalists by teams. The process works well, but from the EMR it is difficult for a consulting physician to tell what team the patient is assigned to. We have a report available, but obviously that involves leaving the EMR and having to access the report off of the menu. We would prefer this information to be available up front in the EMR without having to dig into a report or a note. Has anyone come up with a creative way to address this? Thank you.
