We use Lantronix UDS-10's for our interfaces. (known as an external device server - about the size of a deck of cards. see info at the following address: http://www.lantronix.com/device-networking/external-device-servers/uds-1 0.html).
We have been using them for the past 4 years with no problems. We like them better than multi port units as only one analyzer goes down if there are problems and we can re-allocate units no longer needed easier to one of our other 8 sites. We have about 35 analyzers on the wire across a WAN to a central datacentre. We have also set them up so that they work with standard off the shelf serial cables so we don't have to worry about pin-outs and stuff. I can send you the Config document if needed as the settings required for the standard serial cable required some figuring out - which this doc details.
