Hello listers, I know there are not a lot of people out there who use PRV CDS's, but I would imagine NUR CDS's would work similarly. I am wondering if anyone has done any endocrine clinic documentation with educators and nursing staff each filling out their respective CDS's. I had recently split one encounter because it was maxed out at nine pages. There are queries that overlap, however. Has anyone ever programmed queries to be entered on either of two screens yet viewable and editable in the other. My example queries are height, weight, blood glucose, and Hgb A1C. These queries are reviewed by educators and if they see the patient first, the educators would like to be able to enter this information without having to go into two different encounters. Any help would be appreciated because the staff is very dissatisfied with how cumbersome the process is to collect data. I do not know what else I can do to make their process more efficient short of being able to enter and view those queries in either screen.
