Dee, We've been LIVE with C/S ORM since 2000. Our Schedulers schedule on the grid and complete the screen while on the phone with the Doctor's office. We don't have a CDS, but we do use the Scheduler's Instructions screen for some procedures to give special directions to the Scheduler. I've found that the Scheduler's also are very good about entering OR Comments (i.e. Dr. wants Sales Rep in the room) and Scheduler's Notes to document who they talked to at the Physician's office in case any issues arise over the booking. (i.e. spoke with Joan at Dr. Smith's office).
