Central Peninsula General Hospital (www.cpgh.org) is recruiting for the position of Clinical Systems Analyst
CPGH is a 46 bed community hospital located in Soldotna, Alaska, approximately 150 miles south of Anchorage on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. CPGH is currently a MEDITECH Magic/ Client Server mixed platform site, operating on version 5.5 SR 2, with plans to migrate to Magic only. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a challenging, team oriented work environment. CPGH has most administrative, financial and clinical modules implemented, with plans to implement Emergency Department (EDM), Magic Imaging and Therapeutic Services, eMAR /BMV and Physician Care Manager (PCM). The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for implementation, optimization and support of MEDITECH clinical modules and other clinical systems, along with their associated interfaces. The Clinical Analyst provides end user support and training and serves as a clinical resource for nursing, ancillary staff, IT staff, physicians and vendors. We seek candidates with the following qualifications: a.. Prior MEDITECH experience. a.. Two to five years experience in the installation of advanced clinical health care applications. b.. Excellent written and oral communication skills. c.. Highly developed customer service skills. d.. Prior experience educating users in clinical applications software. e.. Previous exposure to project management and project management principals. f.. Background in one of the following areas: Nursing, Clinical, Ancillary Departments and/or Hospital Management, to provide for a successful link between Information Systems and Patient Care providers. g.. Basic computer hardware and troubleshooting experience. h.. NPR report writing experience highly desirable.
