Don't know whether this has any bearing, Amber, but last year we had an
issue with Mammo stats. Here's a piece describing the resolution:

"... the Mammography Exam Statistics is not what Nicole should run each
month. The Exam/Workload Statistics report, when limited to report on
just Mammography, matches the manual stats she compiles, because it
counts by exams that went to Taken status during the month in question.
The Mammography Exam Stats, however, count by exams that were signed
during the month in question, so it'll virtually always be off of what
she's looking for."

We also found that we have to run the RECOMPILE DAILY STATISTICS routine
before running the Exam/Workload Stats.

Again, this may not apply to your problem, but I'll toss it out. Have a
good day.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Concerning the Exam statistics

We are doing some research in productivity for our Radiology department.
It appears that the standard statistics reports are showing too many
exams. The number is not equivalent to the number of patients seen. I
know that some patients get combined procedures (such as an MRI with and
without contrast could be counted as two exams, or not). Some patients
may truly get two exams, such as a Mammography and an ultrasound. How do
we get a number that represents the number of patients seen?

Also, I understand MediTech is capturing timing of visits but it is not
entered accurately. Is there anyone working with this type of
information and how are they handling the timing issue?
