We have an interface and actually Meditech provided it as a custom many years ago. Mostly dictionary driven. Check with your B/AR analyst.
Also a previous hospital I worked had an interface written by a third party programmer, I am not sure if she still writes and supports this but it was seemless and had very little maintenance involved.
