I have been playing with this off and on for a few years. Workstation
3.25 works just fine under Wine emulation. I have not been able to get
the 4.x workstation to work under Wine, but I have not played with it in
some time. It has been on my dream list for some time. I must confess
that my motivation to make it work diminished once I had a Citrix server
and could just use terminal services. However, since I am non-clinical
and do not require any of the advanced features of the NUI, I usually
fall back to the 3.25 workstation when I need to get something done quickly.
I would be interested in working with anyone interested in working out
what makes the NUI fail under wine. I am not an expert in Wine by any
means, but I can be persistent.
