Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Payroll Paying for exact minutes worked

Does anyone pay employees for the exact minutes worked instead of
rounding?

We currently pay by rounding to the nearest quarter of hour. Example if
an employee worked 32 hours and 9 minutes we would pay 32.25 hours.
But I have been asked if we can pay for exact minutes worked. So we
would pay 32 and 9minutes.

I would be interested in hearing what others do.

Thanks.
