I received error messages when I attached the *.zip file to my email. If
anyone needs the wristband report, I uploaded to the Meditech NPR report
archive.

Good Luck!!
Carlo

Yes, in the Medical Record number section\field I have an * imbedded in
the field. Requested by users, to differentiate a manual entry vs.
scanned.

Another question - Are you able to add additional characters to the
patient identification bar code on the wristband?

Thanks,

I sent a report for C\S, to print with Zebra printers.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Printing bar-coded thermal wristbands on Zebra
orDatamax printers

Hello,

We are client server 5.5 and implementing bar-coded wristbands. Is
anyone printing thermal wristbands with barcodes to a Zebra or Datamax
printer directly from Meditech ADM using an NPR report, without any
specialty printer firmware? Meditech has posted a couple of NPR reports
on the C/S website with control characters for Zebra or Datamax, but not
sure if they actually work, as we don't yet have printers.

Thanks in advance,
