It's that time again. International MUSE 2007 is fast approaching and I'm putting out feelers for fellow lab folk who are willing to share their experiences, both good and bad, wild and wooly as we are all eager to hear what has been going on for the last year. There are some really neat things that are out there as well as some new things on the horizon (hint, hint!!) We are all naturally innovative being the special lab folk we are, but now is your opportunity to shine! I'll even bring a spotlight for ya! Besides, if you don't volunteer, I have to find a way to fill the time, and you know you don't want me up there!!!

Things that I have thought of as far as ideas would be... MEDITECH is introducing their own phlebotomy solution in the Fall. Which one of you guys are the lucky Beta site? Or is it Alpha?? Bet it feels Alpha most of the time. We want to share your pain, really, we do. Show us, tell us, we'll give you big fuzzy hugs!

Anyone have any other interesting specimen collection solutions out there? Or even positive patient id in some other manner?

Anyone want to offer up any of the Outreach module functionality? How they are using it? How about, how the doctors like it and try to get the organization to give them more than they should (ie., Stark Law).

Is there anyone that has anything that they would like someone to show? Toss out ideas, let's get the brainstorming going. Just a couple of months away. It'll be here before we know it!

California, here we come!
